ABOUT

TENTATIVE DATES FOR 2020: 22 & 23 FEBRUARY 2020

2020 will mark the Battle of the Boats 22nd year. The event has grown to over 800 competitors, from 70 crews in 1999 to 180 crews in 2018.

Surf Clubs from all over NSW, in particular Sydney and the Central Coast, and as far afield as Queensland and Victoria compete in late February each year.

The Battle of the Boats has become one of the most popular and successful carnivals on the National Surf Boat calendar. Held two weeks before the NSW Surf Life Saving Championships, it is an opportunity for the top surf boat crews to polish their skills prior to competing at State and National level.

Held on pristine Elizabeth Beach, the Battle of the Boats is a prime location for competitors and their friends and family to enjoy the idyllic local area and some fierce high volume guaranteed racing against quality competition!

We would love to hear any further feedback or constructive suggestions for future carnivals – just send an email or see us on the beach in February!
