When we got engaged, Pacific Palms was the first place we thought of to get married because of its beauty and our long standing attachment to the area. However the lack of good venues meant that we didn’t think this dream would be possible.
My partner suggested PPSLSC but I was adamant against having our wedding in an old surf club. I was convinced to take a look and I was blown away when I walked in the door. The venue itself is gorgeous and being a blank canvas, it really is only your imagination that can stop you creating your dream space.
The bar staff were fabulous and very professional and courteous. We were also pleasantly surprised by all the work done to clean up after we had all left. This made Sunday morning much more bearable.
Could keep on going! Cannot rate this venue highly enough!

We were recently married at the Green Cathedral at Tiona and chose Pacific Palms Surf Club for our reception.
From the initial contact with the surf club the team were nothing but helpful! Nothing was an issue at all for the Venue Coordinator! We were given the opportunity to decorate and set out the room how ever we wanted, the verandah is perfect for those spring and summer afternoon and your guests can fill in the time out there looking at the beach while the bridal party get their photos taken.
Words cannot describe how helpful the bar staff were!! All of our guests commented on the service they provided, how helpful and friendly they were!! Nothing was a problem! and they even clean the room after the function!!
We had such a great night so thanks so much to everyone at the surf club for helping make our night such a beautiful and relaxing one.

Pacific Palms Surf Life Saving Club was a perfect venue for our wedding. It has great facilities (such as multiple toilets, commercial kitchen, bar out on the deck) and the location is just beautiful. We were also very happy with the way the acoustic ceiling kept noise to a minimum. Many guests commented on the lack of echo and how it made it easy to have conversations with others.
The venue manager, was so friendly, professional and easy to deal with. On the day, our bar staff Emma and Dave, were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend the Surf Club to anyone wanting to hold a special event.

Fantastic – highly recommend it as a wedding venue and I would not change a thing about the day. As it is a blank canvas, it is more work than just booking a price per head package at another venue but if you put in the effort the results are VERY rewarding. I really appreciated all the local knowledge and recommendations especially in terms of caterer. The setting is second to none – we even had dolphins on the beach during our pre-dinner drinks!

My partner and I held our wedding reception at Pacific Palms Surf Club. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and couldn't imagine having it anywhere else. The surf club staff were wonderful to consult with throughout the planning process and were available to answer any questions in the final lead up. We used the tables available at the venue and sought externally the rest of the supplies, decorations and furniture.
We opted to pay corkage and bring our own alcohol. The bar staff on the evening were extremely helpful, carrying out any extra tasks that we asked of them. They made sure that everyone on the evening was looked after. We began the reception with canapes on the balcony, which has beautiful views over Elizabeth beach and was large enough to cater for all of our guests.
For us, the venue and it's location was perfect.

On March 4th 2018 our Family and Friends gathered at our property over looking Wallis Lake to celebrate our Marriage, it was nothing short of perfect.
Our reception at Pacific Palms Surf Life Saving Club was also nothing short of perfect, the Venue staff, the fantastic bar staff, local caterers “Kingfisher Catering”
All worked together to make our dreams a reality.
The raw beauty of Elizabeth Beach at sunset after a very hot day and an awe inspiring afternoon thunderstorm made for excellent photos to capture our perfect special day.
